Deanne is a graduate of Baylor University School of Law and has been admitted to the State Bar of Texas since 1988. Deanne has an undergraduate degree in Political Science and Sociology. While in school, Deanne was on the National Dean's list and a member of the National Honor Society. Deanne was active in local service groups, her sorority, was involved in student government, was a class officer and earned numerous academic and oratory awards.

 

Deanne's professional organization memberships, past and present, include: State Bar of Texas, Dallas County Bar Association, Tarrant County Bar Association, Texas Association of Defense Council, Bar Association of Federal 5th Circuit. Deanne is admitted to practice before the following courts: United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas, United States District Court for the Western District of Texas, United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas, United States 5th Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.

 

Deanne's past and present community involvement includes: Metroport Team Court Board; Lead Donor Grapevine-Colleyville Education Foundation; past sponsor of the Colleyville Heritage Baseball team, Colleyville Heritage Panther Band, Colleyville Heritage Panteras, Grapevine High School FFA, Grapevine High School Lady Mustang Soccer, and Grapevine High School Fillies. Deanne has previously and is currently serving as an O.C. Taylor Room Parent. She has also served on the O.C. Taylor PTA Board as Scholarships Chair, 2008-2009, currently serves on the Executive Board as Vice President, Membership, and serves on various O.C. Taylor Committees.

 

Deanne is a current member of the Colleyville Area Chamber of Commerce, the Colleyville Women's Club, the Colleyville Garden Club, the Colleyville Lion's Club and the Grapevine Chamber of Commerce.
