My Family

Deanne has been married to Jon Ayers, Mayor Pro Tem of the City of Colleyville, for the past 23 years. She and Jon have a daughter, Chloe, who is 10 years old and attends O.C. Taylor Elementary School.

 

Jon

Jon is Mayor Pro Tem of the City of Colleyville. Jon has served as Mayor Pro Tem 6 years and has served on the Colleyville City Council since 2003. Jon was raised in Grapevine, Texas, starting school at Cannon Elementary, attending Grapevine Middle School and graduating from Grapevine High School. While at Grapevine High School he was a member of the National Honor Society, a three-year letterman, team captain, and all-district athlete. Jon has been inducted in the Grapevine High School Student Hall of Fame.

 

Jon and Deanne met while attending Baylor. Both are graduates of Baylor University School of Law. Jon and Deanne formed the law firm of Ayers & Ayers, which is located at 4205 Gateway Drive in Colleyville. Ayers & Ayers is a civil litigation defense firm.

 

Jon's current and past civic services include member and former president of the Colleyville Economic Development Corporation Board, former president of the Colleyville Crime Control Board, Colleyville Audit Committee, liaison to Planning and Zoning Commission, Library Board, Celebrate Colleyville and Historic Preservation Commission. Jon is a former Director of the Grapevine-Colleyville Education Foundation.
